Guild for Good Impact Award

The Guild for Good Impact Award recognizes members of our community whose work contributes to the good of all. These community members exemplify the spirit of humanity and have made a significant positive impact touching the lives of others to make the world a better place.

2019 Impact Award Winner

Kevin Thorn is an award-winning eLearning designer and developer, consultant, and owner of NuggetHead Studioz, a boutique custom design and development studio. In addition to being a well-known industry speaker and trainer and a certified facilitator in LEGO Serious Play methodologies, Kevin also regularly volunteers at LeBohneur Children’s Hospital, using his talent and skills to draw and play games with children and giving them joy at a much-needed time.

2018 Impact Award Winner

Koreen Pagano, VP of corporate product management at D2L, has worked in the training and education field for over 20 years. In addition to helping move our industry forward, Koreen also works tirelessly on a number of social causes that support equal rights for all. Koreen places special emphasis on issues affecting the LGBTQ community, and is a board member for the Santa Barbara Transgender Advocacy Network, supporting local transgender adults, youth, and families.

2017 Impact Award Winner

Brian Dusablon, the founder of Learning Ninjas, has worked in the eLearning industry for over 20 years. He consistently seeks out projects that support worthy causes, enabling organizations to extend their good work. His humanitarian nature was probably best displayed during the 2017 hurricanes in Texas, when Brian connected people with the help they needed, and helped people escape and find shelter from the rising floodwaters.
