What isaccessibility in learning and why does it matter?

“Accessible”learning is learning that is inclusive and available to everyone, includingthose with challenges like low vision and blindness, hearing loss and deafness,learning disabilities, and mobility problems. Designing accessible courses isimportant because it provides a level playing field for all employees to haveequal opportunity to learn, no matter their background or abilities.

Accessibility Basics is a collection of 18 previously-published articles from LearningSolutions on how to make work more accessible, updated to reflect on theneeds of today’s workforce. Articles chosen for this curation were selected tohelp spread awareness around the importance of accessibility in learning, and providethose within the community easy access to a bundle of resources that they canreference when designing and delivering future courses.
