When planning for equitable learning programs, how can you create equity when potential deficits are camouflaged? Invisible characteristics such as learning disabilities, neurodiversity, identity, language barriers, and introversion/extroversion can be boosters or barriers—depending on the learning environment. As learning leaders, you need the tools to set your organization and people up to be successful.
In this session, you will:
- Acquire tools to enable you to identify potential barriers and turn them into boosters—on an individual, leadership, and organizational level
- Explore the use of conversations/coaching, facilitated sessions, and messaging in increasing equity
- Gain new resources for your toolbox, including customizable learning resources and support materials for practitioners, leaders, and learners
