Stephen J. Gill is an independent consultant who, for the past 25 years, has been measuring the impact of learning interventions, such as training and coaching, and helping organizations improve the performance of individual employees and teams. He is a former university professor and a widely published author. Steve has an undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Northwestern University in counseling psychology. He is co-author of The Learning Alliance: Systems Thinking in Human Resource Development, published by Jossey-Bass in 1994, author of The Manager’s Pocket Guide to Organizational Learning, published by HRD Press in 2000, author of Developing a Learning Culture in Nonprofit Organizations, published by Sage Publications in 2009, and co-author of Getting More From Your Investment in Training: The 5As Framework, published by RealTime Performance in 2009.
