Lisa Russell is an instructional designer and a communications and writing instructor at Kennesaw State University (KSU) and Georgia Highlands Technical College. Making words work and doing things with words has been a consistent theme in her work, and instructional design is a natural culmination of her varied career. Lisa has worked as a freelance writer, web designer, and marketer, as well as the administrator of the Georgia Writers Association at KSU. She holds an MA in professional writing from KSU. A published writer with a passion for eLearning, she wants to develop new ways to learn using age-old rhetorical techniques to advance the instructional design field.
