As designers, we understand the importance of inclusive content. But how dowe apply inclusive design holistically? It requires empathy, understanding, andintentional inclusion of diverse aspects of humanity to break stereotypes,represent underrepresented groups, and redefine norms. While we have theguidance of the technical functionality of software or imagery, but beyondimages, we must consider inclusivity in quizzes, scenarios, video scripts,text, and more. Looking throughdifferent course elements (quizzes, scenarios, images, scripts), we willconsider ways to increase inclusion, represent underrepresented people in allindustries, roles, skills, and interests, and expand and redefine norms.
