Jane Holcombe is a technical writer who began her career in the 1980s creating courseware for the emerging PC market. She co-founded a company that presented PC support training in all major cities of the continental United States. After a diversion into server and network management, she returned to technical writing and has authored textbooks, workbooks, and self-study guides for McGraw-Hill Education. Currently, Jane is exploring the use of virtual environments in learning.
