Aaron Barlin

Aaron Barlin has a longtime professional passion for learning and development, and a longtime personal passion for graphic design. Indeed, L&D professionals don’t need to spend their free time learning, reading, and watching video essays about graphic design—but Aaron thinks it’s fun, so he has! His depth of knowledge in graphic design has always been integral to his designs of learning. Across 10+ years in education—formerly a high school teacher, instructional coach, and graduate school faculty member, and now an L&D consultant—Aaron has put Bloom’s and Mayer’s into regular practice. After all, at Elynndí, an L&D agency where he guides leaders of learning to “think like a teacher” and therefore tap into their inner child’s sense of imagination and growth, visuals that are meaningful, memorable, and inspirational are part and parcel of high-impact, accessible learning.
