Dr. Amos Glenn is the Instructional Design Manager for the NNLM All of Us Research Program Center at the University of Pittsburgh, where he leads a cross-functional team designing learning experiences for a national audience. With a doctorate in Instructional Design and Technology and 20 years of experience in education and learning design, he uses human-centered design, systems thinking, and strategy to lead projects that address complex, real-world learning challenges. Dr. Glenn has contributed to research-driven learning projects—including AI-powered cognitive tutors and game-based learning—by translating between learning scientists and technology developers to balance innovation with instructional impact. Dr. Glenn has also guided the integration of emerging technologies into learning ecosystems in ways that are ethical, inclusive, and grounded in real learner needs. His work bridges research and practice, focusing not just on delivering content but on solving real problems through intentional design.
