Yet Analytics Demonstrates New xAPI Data Visualization Capabilities at DevLearn

At this year’s DevLearn conference, dataanalytics startup Yet Analytics will present new data structuring and real-timevisualization capabilities for the Experience API (xAPI).
In delivering experience intelligence, YetAnalytics leverages the xAPI specification, an open standard originallydesigned by the Advanced Distributed Learning Initiative. xAPI allows for theinteroperable collection of activity and human performance data from across awide range of data sources. Drawing together multiplatform data sources—includingweb services, wearables, and simulations—in real time, Yet provides insightinto activity, behavior, learning, and performance.
The eLearning Guild’s DevLearn Conference& Expo is North America’s leading event focused on learning technologies, including instructional design, mobile, data and measurement, enhancedrealities, and emerging technologies.
“Because the nature of the tools at thedisposal of professionals in learning and development is evolving so quickly,it is important that those same professionals have professional-grade datacollection and analytics applications at hand,” said Shelly Blake-Plock, CEO atYet Analytics. “DevLearn’s focus on connecting new technologies and making themactionable—especially with regards to something as revolutionary to theindustry as xAPI—parallels the work of technologists in the space to connectand make actionable the data of learning and human performance.”
Yet Analytics will be presenting a customercase study on mobile simulations and xAPI data analytics at the DISCRoundtable.
“The focus on xAPI at DevLearn is reallyexciting,” said Margaret Roth, chief revenue officer at Yet Analytics. “We’relooking forward to hearing all different kinds of perspectives on xAPI at thisyear’s conference as well as sharing the work we’ve done.”
