HT2 Labs Releases Open-Source Learning Locker LRS at DevLearn 2017

HT2 Labs—ownerof the world’s most installed learning record store, Learning Locker—isdelighted to unveil the latest version of Learning Locker to be released opensource, version 2, at DevLearn 2017.

Learning Locker, which was recently shortlisted for the Best Innovation prize at theLearning Technology Awards, is an essential piece of software to consider whenembarking on any implementation using xAPI.

This next free version of Learning Lockerenables learning technology managers to spin up an xAPI-ready LRS with a singleclick. Once it’s up and running, adopters can benefit from a vast range of newfeatures including the creation of performance dashboards using a simple,visual interface.

Ben Betts, CEO of HT2 Labs, is looking forwardto the show and the opportunity to share the latest, free release of LearningLocker:

“When HT2 Labs was trying to get started withxAPI, we could have really used a product like Learning Locker: something thatwas open source, that we could install where we wanted, how we wanted, andreally get to grips with the xAPI specification without breaking the bank,” hesaid.

In addition to demonstrations of the new open-sourceLearning Locker v2, HT2 Labs will be encouraging DevLearn visitors to take partin a free massive open online course (MOOC)—Run Your Own LRS in Four Weeks or Less. This free course is designed to help more xAPI adoptersget a learning record store installed and working for the first time and takesplace within a community, social learning context. As if that wasn’t enough,visitors to HT2 Labs (Booth 603) will also be given a free guide, The Learning Technology Manager’s Guide toxAPI.

And, of course, beyondLearning Locker, HT2 Labs will also be showcasing its full range of software atDevLearn, including its social learning platform, Curatr, and its personal learning hub, Red Panda. With data scientist Janet Laane Effron and CEO BenBetts on the speaking bill at DevLearn, you can catch HT2 Labs throughout theshow at Booth 603.
