Valerie Davisson joined At Home in 2013 as chief people officer, providing strategic leadership in employee relations, staffing and retention, development, succession planning, compensation, benefits, legal, and regulatory compliance. Prior to her current role, she served as executive vice president and chief peopleworks officer for Brinker International. She holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Southern Illinois University and a master’s degree in human resource management from Washington University in St. Louis. Ms. Davisson also serves as a board member for Southern Methodist University Human Resource Roundtable and is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management.
