Joe Hauglie

Joe Hauglie is a senior instructor at Arizona Public Service, a large utility that provides electricity to much of Arizona. In this role, he often provides learning and training consulting, as well as develops, designs, and delivers both e-learning and traditional training for a range of audiences. Joe has been engaged in workplace education, learning, training development, and technical communications for more than 35 years, and has worked in public, private, and government-related industries after starting his professional career as a publicschool teacher in a large urban district. His graduate work at the University of Texas at Austin explored the development of adultsecond-language skills using Internet-based chat rooms, and he worked abroad for two years as a Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program scholar.When he’s not working through one of the hundreds of books on his Goodreads list, he enjoys spending time with family as wellas hiking and backpacking around the Southwest, and baking far too many cinnamon rolls.
