Jennifer G. Gallegos is an entrepreneur, engineer, writer, and XR creator. Gallegos uses her unique background to build convergent (i.e., incorporates other emerging technologies like internet of things, games, etc.) XR experiences that connect humanity. Gallegos has a blog where she writes about emerging technologies, design, entrepreneurship, and lessons remembered. Gallegos is also a licensed professional engineer in Texas where she has held roles in project management, design, sales, and marketing. In her spare time, Gallegos volunteers with local organizations aimed at getting youth involved with STEM careers, and increasing diversity and inclusivity in gaming. She has a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering with a minor in Spanish from Stanford University, and a master’s degree in fire protection engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
