About MedPower
MedPower (www.medpower.org) is a leading provider of innovative, cloud-based e-learning solutions. We specialize in delivering engaging, high-impact training and educational content for healthcare professionals, empowering organizations to optimize their healthcare IT adoption and operational workflows.
While our company is headquartered in Garden City, NY, we operate with a flexible, remote-friendly mindset that values finding the best-available talent. We foster a strong culture of innovation, agility, and exceptional customer service.
We are looking for a dynamic Content Producer & Developer who can act as a hands-on digital media expert and a strategic workflow optimizer to help work with our learning and delivery teams to scale our e-learning offerings and seamlessly transition production in-house.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Production & Asset Assembly
- High-Impact Tutorial Production: Take raw source materials provided by Subject Matter Experts (including pre-made storyboards, screenshots, and raw screen recordings) and transform them into highly polished, seamless step-by-step video tutorials and walkthroughs.
- Visual Enhancements & Highlights: Apply professional video editing, zoom-ins, panning, and callout highlights to elegantly guide healthcare learners through software processes.
- Interactive Content Strategy: Guide the strategic use of interactive elements to enhance and complement tutorial courses, such as embedding guided workflow simulations or integrated checkpoint questions to ensure active workflow comprehension.
- Motion Graphics & Animated Elements: Create engaging motion graphics, short explainer videos, and animated assets to simplify complex healthcare concepts and visually complement standard video tutorials.
- Brand & Quality Management: Apply rigorous MedPower branding, formatting, and as needed client-specific styles to ensure all deliverables meet strict quality and uniformity standards.
2. Production Strategy & Pipeline Management
- Pipeline Triage & Management: Review, prioritize, and triage incoming internal and customer production requests. Determine the optimal format, layout, and timeline to maintain an efficient, predictable production lifecycle.
- Standards, Templates & Frameworks: Build and maintain content templates, design frameworks, asset versioning rules, and digital libraries to ensure visual consistency and scale internal output as we sunset external production dependencies.
- Quality Assurance: Cross-reference final deliverables against SME-approved storyboards to validate instructional accuracy and flawless functionality, grammar etc., before handing media over for final course integration.
3. Tool Evaluation & AI Innovation
- Tech Stack Optimization: Actively research, test, and implement modern production utilities. You will be expected to continuously challenge the status quo, evaluating both mainstream and niche platforms to ensure we are always utilizing the absolute best tools for high-quality healthcare content.
- AI Workflow Evolution: Lead the evaluation and deployment of emerging generative AI tools (such as automated editing suites, script optimization assistants, and lifelike AI voiceover platforms) to accelerate production speed without sacrificing clinical accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in digital content production, digital media development, or post-production asset assembly, with a track record of managing project pipelines.
- Post-Production & Motion Mastery: Strong mastery of video editing and motion graphics software (including Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, and After Effects) to cut, highlight, and format pre-recorded screen captures, as well as develop supportive animated assets.
- Workflow & Process-Driven: Highly organized with a proven track record of managing asset tables, tracking project dependencies, managing change control/versioning and handling shifting content pipelines.
- Collaborative Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to work as a core bridge between our internal content teams, and as needed technical SMEs, or product stakeholders.
Portfolio Requirement: Submission of a digital portfolio or content samples (edited video tutorials, polished process guides, or interactive modules) is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications (The “Pluses”)
- Instructional Design (ID) Insight: Experience or background in Instructional Design and adult learning. Ability to provide proactive, pedagogically sound recommendations to both SMEs (on storyboarding) and the Content Manager (on course integration) to ensure video assets map perfectly to broader educational goals.
- Google Workspace Video Innovation: Familiarity with the Google Workspace ecosystem and its next-generation AI video creation suites (such as Google Vids leveraging Gemini and Veo AI models for voiceovers, asset expansion, and smart assembly). We value the ability to leverage these native tools for speed, while maintaining the critical eye to recommend superior external solutions when appropriate.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary and robust health and benefits package.
- A collaborative, entrepreneurial, and remote-friendly work culture.
- A high-impact role with the creative and strategic freedom to evaluate tools and shape MedPower’s modern production standards.
- The opportunity to create meaningful educational content that directly supports healthcare organizations and improves clinician workflows.
