Director of Undergraduate Admissions

Position Summary
The Director of Undergraduate Admissions is responsible for driving undergraduate enrollment growth through strategic recruitment, admissions operations, and data-informed decision-making. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management, this role is directly accountable for increasing undergraduate enrollment, improving yield, and maximizing return on investment (ROI) across recruitment activities.

Position Responsibilities

Enrollment Growth, Yield & ROI Accountability
• Monitor undergraduate enrollment outcomes, including enrollment growth, yield, and channel ROI.
• Develop recruitment strategies that optimize cost per enrollment and conversion rates.
• Analyze enrollment data and present performance reports and forecasts to the AVP.
• Adjust strategy based on territory performance, market trends, and ROI analysis.

Strategic Recruitment Leadership
• Design and implement a comprehensive undergraduate recruitment plan.
• Oversee recruitment for first-year, transfer, and international students.
• Evaluate market conditions and competitive landscape to inform strategy.

Admissions Team Leadership & Performance Management
• Lead, mentor, and hold admissions staff accountable for enrollment outcomes.
• Establish key performance indicators and monitor performance through dashboards and evaluations.
• Provide training in admissions counseling, CRM utilization, and yield strategies.

Operations, Systems & Collaboration
• Oversee admissions operations, CRM usage, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Financial Aid, and Academic Leadership.
• Support campus visit days, yield events, and orientations.

Compliance & Professional Standards
• Ensure compliance with FERPA, Title IX, Clery Act, and institutional policies.
• Serve as a mandatory reporter.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical admissions practices.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in admissions, enrollment, or a competitive sales environment.
• Demonstrated success in increasing enrollment and improving yield.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Commitment to the Christian mission of King University.
