AI Made Training Faster. Now It Needs to Make Training Real.

Virtual Event

November 5 @ 2:45 am 3:15 pm EST

Free

AI has genuinely solved a speed and capacity problem in L&D. Content generation, course authoring, and personalized learning paths now happen dramatically faster than even just a couple of years ago, but speed was never the measure of whether training actually worked; retention and job-readiness were. In this session, we’ll make the case that the next frontier for L&D isn’t making training faster, it’s making it real: live systems, live environments, live consequences, live troubleshooting. We’ll explore what “real” training actually requires, where AI genuinely strengthens it (and where it doesn’t), and how AI-powered platforms can be built around hands-on practice rather than around content alone. Attendees will leave with a practical framework for evaluating whether their own training stack builds real capability, not just more content.

During this session, you will learn:

  • Why completion and content speed are no longer reliable indicators of training effectiveness in an AI-saturated L&D landscape
  • Tips for distinguishing “AI-powered content” from “AI-powered capability”
  • What “real” hands-on training requires that passive or simulated content can’t replicate
  • How to evaluate AI training tools based on whether they still require learners to do the task, not just consume it
