Rachel Arpin is an instructional designer, facilitator, and doctoral candidate at Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. She is studying escape room games as a way to deliver leadership training. The critical-thinking, collaboration, and collecting of information to solve a puzzle or challenge allows learners to explore content in an interactive and unique experience. In her career, Rachel has seen how experiences can meaningfully influence the way a person views a challenge. Her dream is to design immersive, interactive experiences that shift paradigms and bring people together to solve substantial challenges.
