DevLearn Online Demo Day: LMS/LXP
Virtual Event
November 4 @ 6:45 pm – 7:15 pm EST
Learning and Talent has quietly built its own version of shadow IT: an LMS for delivery, a generic project tool for intake, a spreadsheet for capacity, a goals platform that tracks the OKR but not the work behind it, and — more often than anyone wants to admit — a person carrying the rest in their head. Every other function that scaled past ad hoc work eventually got a system built for how that function actually operates: Sales got RevOps. Engineering got DevOps. Learning and Talent still hasn’t gotten its own operating system — and the patchwork is standing in for one.
That changes this fall. Live from the DevLearn Expo Stage, this session makes the case for what an operating system built specifically for Learning and Talent has to do that none of today’s tools do: connect day-to-day work to strategic goals, and produce the kind of benchmarks a spreadsheet or generic project tool was never built to generate. Then we bring it to life — a look at Cognota’s next-gen answer to that gap, built around two distinct experiences, a governed view for the leader defending the investment, and a real-day-to-day workflow for the person living inside it.
Because the buying conversation for a system like this rarely happens with just one person, the session is built around two: the executive sponsor (CLO/CHRO), who has to defend the investment against everything else competing for budget, and the practitioner (L&D manager or ops lead), who has to live inside whatever gets bought. Viewers — in the room and watching the stream, live or on replay — leave with the case for both audiences, and a first look at the product built to make it.
