Larissa Biggers

Instructional Designer, ITS Teaching and Learning Interactive

Larissa Biggers is an instructional designer with ITS Teaching and Learning Interactive, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. With experience designing and developing curriculum for both traditional classroom and online environments, her current focus is designing learning opportunities that incorporate multimedia into existing courses. Ms. Biggers’ professional background includes work for large corporations such as IBM, and seven years experience as a classroom teacher. Larissa holds a Masters in English from Georgia State University, and has worked as an instructional designer for corporate and educational organizations for 13 years. Larissa co-authored (with Megan Bell) The Creation and Refinement of a Sustainable Multimedia Process in a Higher Education for the Journal of the Research Center for Educational Technology. She has presented at various conferences, including the E-Learn international conference in spring 2009.
