101 What Is Corporate Digital Learning?

8:15 AM - 9:30 AM Wednesday, May 16

The term digital learning is rapidly catching on within the organizational learning space. But what is corporate digital learning? How is this phrase different from any of the other labels we’ve used to describe the work that training and development professionals do each day?

In this session, you will examine the emerging trend of corporate digital learning and discover what makes it unique—and valuable—when compared to existing approaches to learning and development. You will explore the technological and environmental changes that have influenced our cultural behaviors, and how those behaviors form the bedrock of what digital learning truly is. You will develop an understanding of what digital learning activities involve for learners as individuals, and what those emerging behaviors mean for the future of organizational learning and development.
