Scott Patterson
Mobile Learning Platform—Global Service Manager
PricewaterhouseCoopers
For almost 11 years, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) monitored the mobile-learning industry, cautiously limiting activity to proof-of-concept demonstrations and research. In 2011, though, PwC began a path toward implementation of a mobile-learning platform. At the 2011 mLearnCon Mobile Learning Conference & Expo, they presented on their experience of piloting mLearning and shared their beginning stages of planning their implementation.
This session follows the continuation of PwC’s mobile-learning journey, into their planning and eventual go-live of their global mobile-learning platform. Participants in this case-study session will learn how to plan for and execute an implementation of their own platform.
In this session, you will learn:
- Proper project-management-office and team development for your mobile-learning implementation
- About creating alignment with your organization’s IT group, and how they can help you with mobile learning
- About the stages of a mobile-learning implementation and developing a project plan
- About marketing, change management, and enabling territories for a global mobile-learning platform
