Content has two nearly unmanageable characteristics: velocity and growth. Once you release content, how fast it moves to intended consumers and from them to wherever is at speeds unknown to us just three years ago. And content’s speed of movement also contributes to its proliferation. Content grows. Traditionally, this growth was directed and scripted from inception to publication; today, however, how content moves and what it yields requires more than instructional technology, especially if you as the producer want predictable outcomes.
Participants in this session will explore the elements of ingenuity and innovation contributing to the production of content meaningfulness and management, while distinguishing between what the elements contribute to content and what they mean to your content-creation efforts.
In this session, you will learn:
- How “content strategy” improves the ability to increase the value of learning
- About the concepts of “intelligent content” and “content engineering” for content intelligence
- Why “content curation” is the new instructional concern
- Why if content is king, context rules
