Mark Britz is the director of event programming at The Learning Guild. Previously he worked for more than 15 years designing and managing learning solutions with organizations such as Smartforce, Pearson Digital Learning, the SUNY Research Foundation, Aspen Dental Management, and Systems Made Simple. Mark is also an organizational social designer, helping businesses achieve the benefits of becoming more connected and collaborative to improve learning and engagement. Mark is the author of Social By Design: How to create and scale a collaborative company, and regularly presents and writes about the use of social media for learning, collaborative networks, and organizational design.

Keith Quinn

Learning Technologies Manager

Scottish Social Services Council

Keith Quinn, the learning technologies manager for the Scottish Social Services Council, has 30 years’ experience in the social-service sector, with 25 of those years spent in learning and development. Throughout his time at the Scottish Social Services Council, Keith has taken on the lead role for the development and implementation of technology-enhanced learning solutions to support workforce development. He has won a number of awards for this work—the Microsoft Prize for eLearning (at the University of Ulster), the Guardian Public Service Award for Innovation, and most recently a Create in Fife Innovation award for an SSSC project to develop mobile-learning resources. His work has also been featured in case studies developed and promoted by the Adobe Corporation.

Minette Chan

Minette Chan is an L&D leader with 15+ years of experience in both startup and Fortune500 technology companies such as Visa, Siemens, and Ooyala. Minette has been recognized as an Innovation Awardee by the Chief Learning Officer magazine and a Top 40 Under 40 leader by Training magazine. Her programs have garnered "Excellence in Learning" awards by Brandon Hall, including "Best Results of a Learning Program," "Best Advance in Technology Implementation," and "Best Certification Program." Minette holds an MA in learning design and technology from Stanford University, and is a doctorate in education candidate at the University of Pennsylvania.

Barry Nadler

Barry Nadler has been in L&D for about 20 years. He is a thought leader on a training team that provides internal systems training to the largest FinTech company, FIS. He has been an active leader with the Central Florida ATD chapter. Since last year, Barry has been sharing information at conferences and working to come up with better resources for people transitioning to the training field.

Alison Shea

Andela

A fourth-generation educator who couldn't fight her destiny, Alison Shea heads up global learning and development for a tech start-up. Previously she worked in the financial industry focusing on organizational transformation, learning and talent development, and diversity, equity and inclusion. Her background also includes consulting and learning product development. In addition to speaking at conferences and delivering award-winning workshops, Alison is passionate about volunteering, mentoring, and paying it forward. She has an MEd in curriculum and instructional technology.
