John Cleave

Principal, Experience Builders

For the past 15 years, John Cleave has been leading teams in the design and development of simulation-based learning environments (and supporting components such as performance support tools) for Fortune 500 companies and universities including IBM, Lucent, Nortel, Tennant, University of Chicago, and Harvard Business School Publishing. John received a masters in Education and a PhD from Northwestern University, studying under Roger Schank at the Institute for the Learning Sciences. His dissertation work centered on authoring educational simulations, and he has continued to devote much energy on the development of online simulation authoring tools at Experience Builders.
