Abigail Wheeler

Instructional Design Project Manager, IDEXX Laboratories

Abigail Wheeler is the instructional design project manager for IDEXX Laboratories. She has designed and developed learning experiences for nonprofit, government, and private sector organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sister of New York City and the National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program. She currently leads a blended learning curriculum development team at IDEXX. Her training programs are designed to build knowledge and skills in new and tenured sales representatives. This year, her team launched an HTML5-based online learning portal with a focus on micro-content and performance support. She puts the processes and partnerships in place to craft valuable learning opportunities that fit into the flow of a workday. Abigail holds a bachelor’s degree in English and creative writing from Colby College and is a member of the eLearn Magazine editorial board.
