Tamar Elkeles

Tamar Elkeles is the chief learning officer of Qualcomm and is responsible for defining the strategic direction for the company’s overall training and development. Her scope of leadership includes company-wide training, executive and leadership development, internal communications, organization development, and learning technology for more than 27,000 Qualcomm employees worldwide. Qualcomm was ranked as “best in class” in telecommunications in 2002, and 12th on Training magazine’s list of “Top 50 Training Organizations” in 2001. She is co-author of The Chief Learning Officer, and in 2010 was named “CLO of the Year” by Chief Learning Officer magazine. She holds both MS and PhD degrees in organizational psychology.
