Indusgeeks, a global leader in game-based training and gamification solutions, is planning to announce at DevLearn 2016 its newest major enhancement to the multi-award-winning INIT training platform with the addition of INIT VR and INIT AR.

The platform, INIT (or Interactive Narrative Immersive Training), was created to help enterprises convert their existing eLearning content into game-based training solutions for a variety of business processes across industry types. With virtual reality enhancements to the INIT platform through INIT VR, the company plans to pioneer the development of next-generation training experiences, using VR devices ranging from the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive to cost-efficient VR platforms like Google’s Cardboard. Through INIT AR, the company also aims to showcase the training potential of augmented reality and mixed reality experiences, using devices such as Microsoft’s HoloLens and mixed-reality-capable smartphones and tablets.

“We are confident that virtual reality and augmented reality will bring about a paradigm shift in corporate training and look forward to using the technology to transform soft-skills training,” says Sid Banerjee, founder and CEO of Indusgeeks. “The technology is highly versatile and allows you to create seamless learning interventions across the hardware spectrum, from basic screen-based simulations to serious games on mobile phones, to VR- and AR-based games now.”

Banerjee will conduct a learning stage session next week at DevLearn 2016 Conference & Expo specifically talking about how enterprises can use the power of virtual reality to transform their training effectively and cost-efficiently. His session, Virtual Reality and Your Organization: Transforming the Future of Training, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, November 17, on the Emerging Tech stage in the Expo Hall.

To witness a live demonstration of VR’s potential for training and learn how game-based and simulation-based training through INIT can enhance learning, visit Booth 432 at DevLearn 2016. Banerjee will also be available at the booth for interviews and questions. To book an appointment with him at the event, email business@indusgeeks.com.
