701 Cohort Learning Challenges: Meeting the Engagement Needs of Hybrid Workers

11:30 AM - 12:30 PM Thursday, June 8

In today's world of hybrid work where many employees are working remotely, feeling disconnected from their colleagues and facing a variety of distractions, it is becoming increasingly important to find innovative ways to engage them in learning. To address this challenge, instructional designers are turning to successful techniques from outside the traditional learning and development (L&D) space.

This session will showcase how a small group of learning professionals collaborated to develop a unique solution called the Cohort Challenge. It combines the group interaction of online learning platforms like Udemy and Coursera with the quick and highly engaging "challenge" concept that has been popularized on social media.

Learn how the Cohort Challenge can be used to foster engagement, interaction, and collaboration among employees, even when they are working remotely. By leveraging the power of social media and online learning platforms, the Cohort Challenge provides a fun and effective way to enhance employee learning and development in today's hybrid work environment.
