Antigua B
Learning & development departments are at a crossroads. Staffs are stretched to the limit creating, vetting, evaluating, and maintaining content, programs, and curriculum, while looking forward to the future and trying out new things. No consistent or repeatable frameworks exist to test and review emerging technologies such as augmented reality, blockchain, IoT or voice, or AI.
In this session you will learn about the challenges facing L&D in regards to emerging technologies. You will be introduced to a new framework designed to close the gaps on testing these new tools out. You will see specific examples of how this framework can be applied to current emerging technologies, and be given guidance on how this framework can be used in your organization to advance your learning strategies.
In this session, you will learn:
- How emerging technologies and the rapid pace of change are altering your role as a learning leader
- What types of criteria can be used to evaluate new technologies
- How to apply a reusable framework for technology evaluation
- When the BUILDS framework can be used to help you evaluate the new technologies
