P07 B.Y.O.L.: Using Advanced Storyline 2 Features to Build Complex Learning Modules

Many self-taught Storyline users have never ventured beyond the basic understanding of the tool, or have struggled to master some of the more advanced functionality.
In this hands-on workshop, you will practice current understanding of Storyline 2 while exploring the use of Variables and Conditions to add more complexity. This workshop will help participants practice the features that are beyond the basic eLearning module such as Interactive Motion Paths, Conditions and Variables, and how to troubleshoot them.
In this session, you will learn:
- How to create an interactive Motion Path
- How to populate a completion screen with Text Variables
- How to use conditions to evaluate variables
- How to use a True/False Variable to control Navigation
- How to adjust Number Variables using a Slider
- How to use a Numeric Variable to perform calculations
- How to troubleshoot issues with Variables
Audience:
Intermediate and advanced designers and developers. Participants
should be familiar and comfortable with the basic functions of Storyline 1 or 2
and have built more than a couple of modules in either tool or attended a basic
Storyline training.
