8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Tuesday, June 9

“We need to create an app.” This is the line that kicks off many mobile learning projects. But mobile learning is about much more than just the app itself. In order to deliver a successful mobile learning project, you need to understand the full spectrum of mobile app development: from technology, to your learners, to what makes sense for delivery on mobile devices, and more.

In this workshop you will explore the knowledge and tools required to ensure your mobile development projects will not only succeed, but do so with great results. You will examine the options for mobile delivery, and what to consider when designing and testing you mobile projects. You will learn how to optimize your assets (audio, video, etc.) for mobile devices. You will leave this workshop with practical knowledge that can be immediately applied, from understanding the landscape of mobile, to sketching concepts, prototyping your ideas, testing, and gathering feedback to developing and delivering your solutions.
