P08 Enabling the “70” of 70:20:10
8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Tuesday, June 7
Organizations today are realizing that they must move beyond the 10 percent of learning that we call “formal” and address the entire learning ecosystem. Most agree that learners spend 70 percent of their time learning informally, with an additional 20 percent in collaborative learning. This breakdown is referred to as the 70:20:10 framework. The challenge is that few organizations have in place clear practices for intentionally creating a 70:20:10 learning and performance solution that delivers measurable business impact.
Through this highly engaging workshop, you will develop a tactical plan for implementing the 70:20:10 framework in your organization. During and following the workshop, you will gain access to collaboration resources to support you as you journey into the “70” portion of your own learning and development in this area.
In this session, you will learn:
- How to shift your organizational mindset
- How to flip learning into the workflow
- How to broaden your strategy
- Tips to optimize your methodology
- How to integrate new technologies
Novice and intermediate designers, developers, project managers, and managers.
