Changing behavior is hard. Online learning can communicate ideas and encourage change but it often struggles to deliver when your workforce is busy and inundated with other messaging. So, how can you design experiences that cut through the noise and lead to real behavioral change?
Taking inspiration from outside of corporate learning and drawing upon gaming, psychology, and behavioral economics, we will look at two radically different answers to this question: creating ‘invisible’ experiences and creating ‘disruptive’ experiences. During the session we’ll be sharing real examples of ‘invisible’ and ‘disruptive’ learning experiences we’ve created at Learning Pool and offering helpful tips for how you can transform the solutions you commission and create.
In this session you will learn:
-
What truly invisible and disruptive learning experiences are and why they are effective
-
What tools and technologies you can use to create these types of experiences
-
How to combine these experiences to deliver real behavioral change
-
What other organizations have achieved with this approach
Technology discussed:
Authoring tools (Storyline, Adapt, Rise), adaptive learning (Scholar, Poet), video and multimedia, learning experience platforms, campaign tools
