601 Compliance Training Is a Serious Game Opportunity

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Thursday, November 15

Publicly regulated companies and those that face strict regulations have instituted company-wide programs because they are under pressure to demonstrate that employees are trained on laws, regulations, and policies that apply to daily responsibilities. This is the most important training that our industry has to offer, and companies depend on it and may stay in business because of it. Yet compliance training regularly under-performs and is often met with frustration and disdain.

In this session, you'll explore how serious games and their inherent qualities to engage and captivate can be a better answer to today’s compliance training needs. You'll examine well-designed game-based compliance training approaches and examine relevant game mechanics as they relate to the content. Finally, you'll learn how game mechanics such as challenges, risks, and rewards improve learning and inspire motivation for compliance training.
