401 Microlearning Is Much More than Small Training

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 21

A literal interpretation of microlearning could easily equate to “small learning.” It’s that interpretation that often leads to the “micro” part being overemphasized. Microlearning is about much more than making content smaller, and if we don’t recognize this, we leave much of microlearning’s potential off the table.

In this session, we will look at microlearning from a “macro” context. We will look beyond shrinking content and examine the workflows that are enhanced when you find a way to fit the right content into the right place, accessible at the right time. You will discover why the most powerful microlearning solutions don’t focus on learning at all, but instead focus on providing people with task-related support when and where it is needed.
