601 What Technologies are Enabling Learning Personalization?

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Thursday, November 9

Personalized learning is a broad term. There are more options available to personalize learning programs than ever before, and the possibilities for personalization continue to grow rapidly. This growth is largely powered by new tools that enable L&D professionals to build and customize learning programs in ways that were impossible in the past, and via new platforms and infrastructures that enable hosting and delivery of content in new and complex ways.

This session will explore the technologies that are powering the growing learning personalization conversation in L&D. You will explore the full spectrum of what qualifies as "personalization"—from simple examples that can easily add more choice to learning programs, to more complex examples that use data and algorithms to dynamically present the right content at the right time. You will leave this session with an understanding of the technologies that are shaping the present and future of learning personalization.
