In this closing session of the Learning from Marketing Summit, moderator David Kelly will be joined by three speakers who will further examine how the ideas and processes that marketing departments successfully use can be applied to organizational learning. The floor will also be open to attendees, allowing you to share your own experiences and ask questions of the panel.
With over two decades of real-life, in-the-trenches experience designing and delivering learning experiences, Mike Taylor understands that effective learning isn’t about the latest fad or trendy new tools. Known for his practical, street-savvy style, Mike is a regular and highly-rated speaker at industry events, and consults on learning design and technology at Change4Growth in Columbus, Ohio. Mike holds an MBA degree from Ohio University and a master’s degree in educational technology from San Diego State University.

David Kelly is the Executive Director of The Learning Guild. David has been a learning and performance consultant and training director for over 20 years. He is a leading voice exploring how technology can be used to enhance training, education, learning, and organizational performance. David is an active member of the learning community, and can frequently be found speaking at industry events. Principal Consultant, Learning Experience Design
Judy Albers is a principal consultant for learning experience design with Intrepid Learning. Judy, an MSEd, helps leading companies create engaging online learning experiences backed up by neuroscience and research on web behavior. These projects have earned over a dozen awards from across the learning, media, and marketing fields. Prior to Intrepid, Judy served as first vice president of learning technology at JPMorgan Chase, and she facilitated Bank One’s learning governance council during its three straight years as the top-rated bank in the Training Top 100.
Director Learning Experience
Bianca Baumann, director learning experience at GP Canada, focuses on digital education success, combining L&D and digital marketing to create outstanding learning experiences and strategies that help organizations meet their growth and revenue targets. She has spearheaded multiple projects in the marketing, automotive, financial, and events industries, creating award-winning programs along the way. She published the eBook The Little Black Book of Marketing and L&D, a practical guide that helps integrate proven marketing techniques into L&D.
