P03 BYOL: Building Assessments, Scenarios, and Simulations with Storyline
8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Monday, October 23
St Thomas B
Articulate Storyline offers a great opportunity for eLearning designers and developers to build highly interactive and effective learning solutions for their audience. However, there are so many options in Storyline that newer or self-taught users can feel a little overwhelmed when trying to create solutions that go beyond the basics. If you want to push beyond simple eLearning and create innovative content in this tool, where should you get started?
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how you can best use the features of Storyline to create engaging and effective assessments, scenarios, and simulations. You’ll see how to use this tool to build highly interactive assessments that you can track on an LMS. You’ll then explore how to enhance your modules with immersive branching scenarios and software simulations. Finally, you’ll learn how to package your content with a player and publish it so it can be viewed properly on a wide range of devices.
In this session, you will learn:
- How to build and design assessment questions in Storyline
- How to import bulk questions into a story or question bank
- How to design custom freeform questions
- How to create a multi-scene branched scenario
- How to record a software simulation
- How to design a player and successfully publish a learning module
Audience:
Novice to intermediate designers and developers.
