801 How to Improve Your Virtual Facilitation Style

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Thursday, August 5

When you deliver training online, how do you show up? What personality and energy do you bring? What intention does that personality convey and how does it impact the learning experience of the attendees?

In this session, we'll explore six types of mindsets that presenters can have. From the "News Anchor" to the "Podcaster", the "Airplane Pilot", the "Technology Guru", the "Energizer Bunny", and the "Guide on the Side", we'll explore the strengths and weaknesses of each and recognize our own tendencies within and how they influence things like our use of web cameras, our approaches to delivery, and the application of technology during training. Understanding these six delivery styles will help you to enhance your approach to virtual facilitation.
