601 Designing for Augmented Reality (AR)

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Thursday, February 18

Augmented reality (AR) is growing as an important organizational learning solution. And as this immersive technology changes rapidly, the success of AR will be dictated by the ability to design effectively for its use. Designing for AR requires a different way of thinking as it is most effective when used to integrate the physical context and digital world seamlessly in efforts to improve performance.

In this session, you will learn tips and best practices for creating engaging and comfortable AR experiences. You will learn what instructions to include before the experience, how to coach people to get started, and how to design the experience in ways to resolve problems. We will also discuss project management, prototyping, and ready-to-publish applications. You will also leave with an AR example to edit and share with your team!
