601 Choose Your Own Adventure: Reframe Scenario-based Learning with Good Storytelling

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Thursday, September 29

Once there was an eLearning designer who was handed a course request and a pile of content from a SME. What happened next? S/he:

  1.  Dove right in, building slides as the ideas came
  2. Carefully crafted the outcomes, determined the assessment, content and activities, and started building
  3. Carefully crafted the outcomes, determined the assessment, crafted a story to present the content, mapped activities into it, then started building
  4. Adapted a fairy tale storyline, tacked pieces of content to it, tossed in activities and interactions, and ended with a final quiz to ensure mastery
  5. Imported the SME’s PPT slides into Storyline and called it done

In the end, which choice led to happily ever after for the designer, the SME, and the learners? Which made the content stick?

Find out in this interactive workshop and learn to make your courses sticky, too.
