Storyboarding is a time-tested method for creating and mapping out eLearning courses, ensuring that everyone involved has visibility into what concepts, designs, and delivery methods the learning product will take. But with the new reality of virtual-only collaboration, there are additional challenges you need to overcome in your eLearning storyboarding processes. Thankfully there are online collaboration tools that can both support how you design and develop eLearning as a team and get input from your stakeholders.
In this session, you'll learn how the online whiteboarding tool Miro can be used to create storyboards and address some of the biggest challenges of online-only collaboration. We'll show how you can begin using a free trial of Miro to collaborate in the identifying and mapping of key concepts and then demonstrate how to apply them to a custom storyboard template where ideas can be further advanced using images and icons. We'll then show how the capabilities to comment, create a feedback loop with reviewers, and even present from Miro can be leveraged in this collaborative atmosphere. To ground this in real world application, we'll discuss how our team at dRofus has used this tool and the resulting storyboarding to define and document a process for creating learning products.
