On the footsteps of the dot-com craze, the first web-based learning management system (LMS), OLAT, debuted in 1999 as a free, open-source platform to support adult learning. In the almost 20 years since, the LMS has continued to serve as the primary point of record for learning completion and compliance. However, as digital technologies evolve, our businesses and learning organizations must also transform how they design and deliver learning solutions to support the workforce in the rapidly changing world of work.

In this session, you’ll explore how to expand your learning technology ecosystem to meet your learners where they are now and where they will be as the digital transformation continues to unfold. The modern worker’s needs are shifting, and new capabilities in digital literacy, collaboration, leadership, and critical thinking are required for them to drive business value. It’s time to re-think your learning tech stack and harness new technology in the pursuit of optimal workplace performance.
