In recent years, employee engagement has gone
beyond just polls and surveys emailed out. Current technology is utilized, and
everything with a game-like atmosphere is repurposed, causing employee
engagement worries to become a thing of the past. In this session you will see and interact with
different engagement tools in a fun, game-show-like atmosphere. You will learn
how games are being used for engagement. You will explore the technologies that
are being used to increase employee engagement and add gaming elements to
learning programs.

Founder
Guide by Cell
Dave Asheim, the founder of Guide by Cell, is a veteran of up-and-coming technology and software providers with 11 years of mobile technology experience. Before founding Guide by Cell in 2004, Train by Cell’s parent company, he was president of Well Engaged, the pioneers of pre-Google and Facebook social networking. He launched Guide by Cell with the initial goal of bridging the gap between cultural institutions and their patrons, and the business has since expanded to offer mobile technologies to solve a wide variety of problems, including learning and training. Dave holds a BS degree in finance and an MBA degree, both from the University of Illinois.
