10:45 AM - 11:45 AM Thursday, April 21
Salon 16
Training teams routinely have challenges engaging with their audiences, making people aware of what's available, and getting their learners excited about new offerings to help career growth. The internet marketing field knows how to do all of this well. Technically speaking, we are all in the same business—we sell or provide information to our specific audiences. It is very common for them to have customers eagerly waiting for their content, typically "how-to" content. Guess what? They aren't learning professionals or IDs. But they teach thousands of people regularly.
In this session, you will receive a breakdown of how that industry views content creation, branding, and marketing, along with a discussion on how we can implement these ideas to serve our audiences. They use terms like "value ladders," "virtual summits," "branding," "product launces," "offer stack," and "content" to describe what they provide. The information they share passes the most critical test—people pay money for their knowledge and mentoring. This session will introduce how these professionals think about information programs, marketing, and branding. We will also discuss how the principles of internet marketing can map over to your offerings and assist you in starting to develop a plan for this new approach.
In this session, you will learn:
