342 Learning Ecosystems: Building Adjacent, Embedded, and Practice Learning
11:00 AM - 11:45 AM Wednesday, November 17
In our increasingly virtual world, we need learning systems that meet users where they are and are flexible enough to support a variety of needs, from in-the-moment quick answers to comprehensive skill building. But leaders often approach learning as though "rub some training on it" is a valid approach to any business problem. The learning ecosystem approach helps the business to understand and embrace performance support tools as a path to good results. This session explores the implementation of a learning ecosystem approach for STANLEY Security. We’ll discuss how to identify the components of an ecosystem and place resources within the ecosystem. You’ll leave with checklists and decision trees for aligning content with delivery modality, an understanding of archetypal tools and experiences within the ecosystem, and stories of the challenges and triumphs encountered throughout the journey.
In this session, you will learn:
