112 L&D Is Getting (Really) Serious About Data

9:00 AM - 9:45 AM Monday, November 15

L&D professionals are getting wise to the promise of fancy dashboards that look great but don't give actionable insights. Increasingly, we're seeing organizations maturing in their use of data and reaping the benefits of exploiting automation, AI, and machine learning. How can you progress your own strategy to reach this level?

In this session, we will review Learning Pool's Learning Analytics Maturity Model and explore steps that an organization can take to increase their data maturity. Attendees will have access to the LAMM survey and will receive a report following the show that highlights the organization's learning data maturity. Based on our extensive experience in learning data and with global organizations, we will touch on what organizations are looking for in their reporting tools. Showing the power of automation and how the use of benchmarking and machine learning techniques can take the assessment of learning to the next level.

In this session, you will learn:

  • Key data trends in business and how they apply to L&D
  • How to apply a structured approach to your organization's data maturity
  • About real world examples of automation and machine learning in practice
