531 Engaging with Learning Consultants: The Secrets Revealed

A successful learning project involves both Business Operations and the Learning & Development organizations to ensure the consideration of existing processes and procedures in the future sustainability of a new project. We’ll share our hard-earned experience to enable you to avoid obstacles in your consulting project. You’ll learn the importance of involving stakeholders, establishing milestones and checkpoints, having a good communication plan, and building in time to create adequate knowledge transfer and user adoption when engaging with consultants to implement successful learning projects.
In this session, you will learn:
- How to involve all stakeholders and obtain the necessary executive buy-in to get subject matter experts involved early and often
- The fundamentals of creating a strong communication plan with regular cadence to all stakeholders
- Why it’s essential to allow adequate time to get the product delivered and knowledge transferred to those that will ultimately implement and sustain the work
