341 Unlock Engagement: Marketing Hacks for Learning Programs

11:00 AM - 11:45 AM Wednesday, November 17

It's easy to fall into the trap of doing things the same way, but this lack of variety is boring — to you and to your learners. This interactive session challenges you to approach learning opportunities in new ways, using publicized marketing initiatives as a reference point. We’ll analyze why the marketers made the decisions they did and examine their thought process, enabling you to apply their techniques to your learning projects. You’ll collaborate with a group of peers to share ideas and build professional relationships. Our examples all circle back to the business objectives and the process likely required to execute the plans, and we will discuss measurement issues, managing expectations, and definitions of success.

In this session, you will learn:

  • How and why to apply marketing approaches to learning situations — and make the case to your leadership for doing so
  • How to reverse-engineer a marketing campaign
  • Ways to leverage your skills to apply this creative thinking to your own challenges
